Man gets 20 years rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting boy in Puducherry
CHENNAI: A fast-track court handling cases booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act, 2012 sentenced a 41-year-old man to undergo 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy in Puducherry in 2021.
The judge sentenced the man, identified as S Jakir Hussain, to undergo three years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually harassing the boy.

Both terms will run concurrently.
The judge awarded a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the survivor boy.
Hussain, a driver, lured the boy by showing pornographic videos and committed aggravated penetrative sexual assault on him, according to special public prosecutor S Patcheappan.
