Puducherry: Lieutenant governor Kiran Bedi, chief minister V Narayanaswamy, his cabinet colleagues, MPs and a host of other leaders greeted the Muslim brethren on the occasion of
Ramzan.
Bedi in her message said Ramadan is the renowned and sacred festival of Muslim brethren across the world. Ramzan is a well known for promoting humane values, she added.
“The holy month is intended to improve morality.
It is a unique festival that promotes goodwill, self-contentment and helping the needy. On this occasion, I extend my heartiest wishes to all the Muslim brethren and the people of Puducherry for happy Ramadan and prosperity,” Bedi said.
