Youngsters ready to surprise moms this Mother’s Day
PATNA: With Mother’s Day falling on Sunday, young Patnaites are leaving no stone unturned to make their moms feel special. From planning salon sessions and baking cakes to buying plants and customized gifts, they are going the extra mile to make sure their mothers are happy.
Bailey Road resident Ajita Jha will visit a local nursery with her mother this Sunday. She said, “My mom is fond of plants. Making her buy her favourite ones for her garden at home will make her happy.”
Since it’s a Sunday, many youngsters are planning to spend the entire day with their moms. One of them is Kankerbagh resident
There are some, who are planning to buy customized gifts for their mothers. Rajendra Nagar resident Abhilash Anand’s mother prefers handmade cards to expensive gifts. He said, “My mother is pretty old school when it comes to the choice of gifts. I have written a poem on the bond that we share and will get it printed on a message scroll.”
Meanwhile, gift stores are doing good business ahead of Mother’s Day. Sunil

The cost of a coffee mug ranges from Rs 150 to Rs 400 whereas a quotation book costs anywhere between Rs 200 and Rs 500. The price of glass stands and cards varies from item to item.
