Woman forced to consume poison in Nalanda village, dies
Patna: A 22-year-old married woman allegedly died after being forced to consume poison over a land dispute at Bahera village under Silao police station in Nalanda district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Neha Kumari, wife of Tuntun Yadav. Following the incident, all members of her in-laws' family are absconding.According to Neha's family, she had been living at her in-laws' house while her husband, a daily wage worker, works in Chennai. The couple, who married in 2022, has a young son. The family claimed that a long-standing dispute over around 4 to 5 bighas of farmland among four brothers had led to rising tensions in the household. They alleged that Neha was killed by her in-laws.

Silao SHO Murli Manohar Azad said, "Preliminary investigation suggests the death may have occurred after consuming pesticide during a domestic dispute."
