Buxar: Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday announced that a temple dedicated to Lord Vaman, located inside the Buxar Jail complex, will soon be opened to the public. He said the state govt would make necessary arrangements to facilitate visitors.
Emphasising the symbolic importance of the temple’s opening, Samrat said, “No one can confine Lord Vaman. The Nitish govt will work to free Lord Vaman from the Buxar jail,” drawing applause from the audience.
Samrat also revealed plans for a Marine Drive-style project between Koilwar and Buxar, following a similar development in Patna. The proposed project is expected to ease traffic congestion and promote tourism in the region. The Dy CM arrived in Buxar along with CM Nitish Kumar as part of the ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ and addressed a public gathering at Qila Maidan.
