Umesh Kushwaha elected JD(U) state chief again

Patna: Mahnar MLA, Umesh Singh Kushwaha, was Friday elected to the post of JD(U) state president for third consecutive term.According to a statement issued by the party, Kushwaha was declared unopposed as no other functionary filed a nomination for the post.
The party's state election officers, Ashok Kumar ‘Munna' and Paramhans Kumar, handed the election certificate to Kushwaha."No other candidate filed nominations for the post. Following the completion of the scrutiny process, Kushwaha was declared unopposed as the JD(U)'s state president," the JD(U) said in a statement.
