PATNA: The Bihar government has decided to start two Sainik schools in the state from October 11. These schools will be set up at Gopalganj and Rajgir in Nalanda district. This was stated by chief minister Rabri Devi who held a meeting with some Army officials at her residence on Thursday.
The principals of the Sainik schools of Nalanda, Gopalganj and Tilaiya (in Jharkhand) were also present at the meeting.
The CM claimed Bihar will be the first state to have two Sainik schools. She said that the state government has already earmarked Rs 50 crore for the construction of the school buildings.
