MUNGER: Police have arrested two suspects — a man and his son — in a case related to threat and extortion letters to Munger DIG and Munger commissioner in the name of terror outfit ISIS.
Police have arrested Khurshid Mallick, 60, and his son Sajid Hussain, 40, in this regard. Residents of Naya Tola Chakashim under the Mufassil police station area of Munger district, they are alleged to have sent the letters to DIG S P Shukla on the eve of Independence Day celebration and threatened to blow up the Polo Maidan and the eastern gate of the Munger Fort.

Another pamphlet said to be issued on behalf of the ISIS was found in the residence and office of the divisional commissioner Lian Kunga on Thursday, demanding Rs 50 lakh.
