Trinity school students overall champions

Global School lifting the overall championship trophy. The runner-up trophy was bagged by the students of Radiant International School.


The theme of the programme was ‘Futuristic world vision 2050’. More than 250 students from 12 city schools participated in the interschool event in various events, such as ‘Space Odyssey’, ‘A-lien Couture’ and ‘Flight of Fantasy’. The prize was distributed by Arti Jha, principal of the host school.

Science exhibition: Around 100 students of Usha Martin World School displayed their working and non-working models at a science exhibition – ‘Technica’ – on the school premises on Saturday.

Some of the eye-catching models were smart city, biodiversity, hydro-power plant, Bluetooth speaker, ATM machines and volcano. Students described their models in three methods – principle, experiment and stimulation. School principal Teissee Prasad applauded the students’ hard work.

Career counselling fair: Students of classes IX to XII participated in a career counselling fair organised by Radiant International School on Saturday. Experts from various fields helped the students in choosing right career.

The experts included IAS official Vijay Prakash, former Bihar DGP Abhayanand, agriculture scientist Dhiraj Kumar, deputy commissioner U N Singh, Dr Shweta Roy from IGIMS, Dr Yashwant Singh from PMCH,

principal Dr Samant Ray, Anand Prakash Badal from College of Arts and Crafts and advocate Brishketu Sharan. Students interacted with the experts and cleared their doubts.

Kabaddi tourney: A “meet and greet” programme was held at

Delhi Public School

on Saturday a day before the beginning of the Interschool Junior Pro-Kabaddi Tournament at Pataliputra Sports Complex.

Eight city schools will compete against each other in the tournament which will conclude on Monday.
