Trade unions’ protest day on March 14

patna: members of different unions of the town affiliated to the central trade unions namely the all india trade union congress (aituc), all india council of central trade unions (aicctu), bhartiya mazdoor sangh (bms), centre of indian trade unions (citu), hind mazdoor sabha (hms), utuc (lenin sarani) and the tucc, in a meeting held here at kedar bhawan decided to take out a procession on march 14 as a part of their nationwide protest day.the procession would be taken out from the reserve bank of india (rbi) campus and cover the main thoroughfares of the city. the agitation of the trade unions is to protest against proposed reform in labour laws and central legislation for agricultural workers. members of the cpm-affiliated bihar rajya kisan sabha remembered swami sahajanand saraswati on his 113th birth anniversary in a meeting. cpi leader jagannath sarkar, cpm state secretary, ganesh shankar vidyarthi, historian, k k sharma and adri director p p ghosh remembered sahajanand.
