Three criminals arrested in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi: A police team, led by Sadar SDPO Ram Krishna and Pupri DSP Atnu Dutta, on Sunday nabbed three criminals— Munna Kumar Singh, Muskan Kumar Singh and Lakshmeshwar Singh—from a rented house in Runnisaidpur Bazar area in the district. Two country-made pistols, equal number of live cartridges, a car, a motorcycle and Rs 1.1 lakh were seized from their possession. They confessed to looting finance companies at Pupri and Runnisaidpur. They were residing in a rented house by hiding their identity and were involved in several crimes and had been to jail many times, said the SDPO. Their other accomplices would be arrested soon, he added.
