22-yr-old woman found dead at passenger shed in Aurangabad

Patna: The body of a 22-year-old woman was found under suspicious circumstances at a passenger shed near Naugadh Mor on the Rafiganj-Aurangabad Road under Mofussil police station area in Aurangabad district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Neha Kumari, daughter of Dinesh Yadav of Paharma village in the district.
According to police, some local villagers noticed that a woman was lying on the bench at the passenger shed. They thought that she was sleeping, and tried to wake her up. When she did not respond, they informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and sent the body to sadar hospital for postmortem.
Mofussil SHO, Ashok Kumar, said, "The woman was wearing a pink top, and a blue denim jeans. A backpack was also found on the spot. There were some clothes and a notebook inside it. A forensic team visited the spot and collected samples. Her cellphone is being examined by the technical experts to find out some clues. Neha was doing graduation from a govt college in Aurangabad town."
The family members said that her wedding was fixed in a village of Rohtas district. She had gone out of her house on Wednesday evening, but did not return. "There was no injury mark found on her body. The cause of her death could be ascertained only after the autopsy report comes," the SHO added.
