State Cong chief meets Nitish

Patna: State Congress chief Akhilesh Prasad Singh, who met chief minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday, said the opposition’s unity was the main agenda of their discussion.
Singh, who had the closed-door meeting with the CM at the 1, Anne Marg bungalow, said cabinet expansion was not an issue and he would be meeting the CM again on all such issues after the Karnataka election results. The meeting took place on Wednesday morning. Singh said, “We mainly had discussion on old issues like the bringing all the non-BJP parties together.”
On the question about not so good relation between former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav and his party Congress and whether it will create an obstacle in opposition’s unity, he said all the issues will be sorted out.
When asked if he raised the demand for cabinet expansion as his party has been claiming for two more berths in Bihar cabinet since long, Singh replied, “CM has said there is no problem on this issue. Everything will be sorted out after the Karnataka assembly results. We will meet again.”
This meeting with CM came two days after Singh met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) national president Lalu Prasad at the 10, Circular Road Bungalow allotted to former CM Rabri Devi on Monday evening. He was then accompanied by Congress legislative Party leader Ajit Sharma too.
