PATNA/SITAMARHI: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawan sustained bullet injury after being shot at by one of his colleagues at Narkatia border outpost in Sonbarsa block of Sitamarhi district Monday morning. The injured constable,
Dharmendra Khalko (33), is a resident of Jharkhand. He has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
According to police, the incident took place around 7am at the SSB 51st Battalion camp at Sonbarsa-Indarwa border.

Meena over some issue. After the spat, Meena in a fit of rage took out his service rifle and fired at Dharmendra. The bullet hit his left thigh.
Hearing the gunshot, the other jawans reached the spot and rushed Dharmendra to the Sonbarsa primary health centre. After first-aid treatment, he was referred to the Sadar Hospital, where his condition is stable. According to police, his family members were informed about the incident.
The accused, the son of Jagdish Meena from Rajasthan, has been detained for interrogation and his service rifle has seized. SSB commandant Rajan Kumar Srivastava refused to give any statement on the issue.
Ram Krishna, DSP (HQ) said the two jawans had a fight, following which Meena opened fire from his service rifle (INSAS). "Dharmendra received injury on his thigh. His condition is stable," he told TOI. "The accused is being interrogated at the camp site. The reason behind the dispute has not been ascertained yet," he added.
