GAYA: An FIR has been lodged with the Mufassil police station here on Tuesday against six-seven unidentified youths in connection with a raod rage case.
The dispute took place at Bandhua railway crossing on Gaya-Fatehpur road when four people of Jamui travelling from Dehri in a car entered into an argument with some local youths boarding another car. Later, the youths, accompanied by some other local youths chased the car going to Jamui, overtook and stopped the car on the road. They then thrashed those travelling in the car. One Satyaprakash, who was on the driver’s seat, sustained head injuries in the scuffle.
On getting information, Mufassil station house officer Raghuwar Prasad reached the spot. An FIR has been lodged against 6-7 unidentified youths by one Rahul Kumar, who was travelling in the car going to Jamui.
“In the written application, Rahul has mentioned about altercation with the local youths on the issue of giving passage for overtaking. On the basis of the complaint, police have started an investigation to identify the youths”, the SHO said.
