Seven e-rickshaws distributed

Buxar: DM Sahila on Friday distributed seven three-wheeler e-rickshaws under the Fish Transport Vehicle Scheme launched by the fisheries department. She stated that the initiative would help fish farmers become self-reliant and strengthen their livelihoods. She asked the beneficiaries to use the vehicles effectively for safe transportation and sale of fish, which would also help build greater trust among customers.ADM Arun Kumar Singh said the e-rickshaws are equipped to transport fish from water sources to markets in a safe and hygienic manner by storing them in ice boxes. Officials said the scheme aims to promote the use of modern equipment in the fisheries sector and provide fishermen with safer, more efficient transport facilities.
