Section 144 clamped on Buxar village

BUXAR: Tension prevails at village Naya Bhojpur under the Dumraon police station of the district after members of two communities clashed over a trivial issue late on Tuesday night during Muharram procession.
Section 144 has been promulgated in the village and four sections of armed forces have been deployed. According to SP ON Bhaskar, the situation at Naya Bhojpur is under control.
Trouble began when a few members of a marriage party were injured by people participating in a Tazia procession during Muharram festival.
Later, a violent clash ensued between two groups, causing injuries to four persons, including awoman. The injured persons are -- Surendra Prasad Gupta, Dulari Devi, Sunil and Jamadar Yadav.
An FIR has been lodged with the Dumraon police station.
