Saris worth Rs 15 lakh stolen
Saris worth Rs 15 lakh were stolen from a shop located on Ashok Rajpath late on Wednesday night.
The owner of the shop lodged a complaint with Pirbahore police station in this regard.
Town DSP Sanjay Singh said on Thursday that a group of burglars broke open the locks of the shutter of the shop, collected Banarasi saris worth Rs 15 lakh and escaped.
Singh, however, described the incident as "doubtful".
