RJD: We want Manipur’s psychological healing
Patna: The two-day visit by a delegation of the newly formed Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) to violence-hit Manipur was a step towards ensuring the psychological healing of the victims, RJD MP Manoj Jha said on Saturday. He was part of the group visiting Manipur.
After meeting the victims of Manipur violence at a relief camp in Churachandpur, he said they have assured the affected people that the situation will improve.

“There is no other alternative to peaceful coexistence, from Manipur to Madhya Pradesh in the country. We have assured them that everything will be fine. We have also asked the people in the relief camp not to think that the state or Union government was not doing anything for them. We all want their psychological healing,” Jha told the media.
He also called the BJP leaders sick for demanding that the opposition also visits Rajasthan or West Bengal — which witnessed political clashes during the recent panchayat elections.
"God forbid there is any massacre-like situation anywhere. If such a situation arises, then we will go there (Rajasthan or Bengal) too. However, I will tell them ‘Get well soon. You people are sick’,” he said, replying to a media question on the BJP’s jibe at the opposition group’s visit to Manipur only.
He further said that he would leave it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's conscience to speak and make a peace appeal to the people of Manipur.
