Patna: Two days after four MLAs of his party joined the RJD in Patna, AIMIM state chief Akhtarul Iman on Friday challenged them to quit the membership of the state assembly and contest the elections again.
Iman, who was addressing a street meeting at Bahadurganj in Kishanganj district, also assailed the RJD’s secular credentials, saying Lalu Prasad’s party back-stabbed AIMIM even through Asaduddin Owaisi had offered support to it in government formation in November 2020.

Iman said Owaisi had personally talked to Lalu and assured the support of his party's five MLAs. “Owaisi will definitely visit Kishanganj in the near future,” he added.
