Railways cancels 54 passenger trains from September 7 to 11

Patna: In a major track-safety exercise, railways has cancelled 54 passenger trains either originating from or passing through the East Central Railway (ECR) jurisdiction due to yard remodelling and third line commissioning between Gorakhpur Cantt and Kusmhi under Varanasi division of North Eastern Railway from September 7 to 11.
According to ECR chief public relations officer Birendra Kumar, Jayanagar-Amritsar Express (14673/14674 ) has been cancelled from September 7 to 12, Porbandar-Muzaffarpur Express (19269/19270 ) from September 7 to 11 and Anand Vihar-Saharsa Express (15529/15530) on September 7 and 8.

Among other major trains, Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Express (12211) has been cancelled on September 8, Prayagraj Rambag-Muzaffarpur Express (12537/12538) on September 11, Barauni-New Delhi Clone Special (02563/02564) from September 8 to 12, Lucknow-Patliputra Express (12529/12530) on September 8, 9 and 11 and Anand Vihar-Bapudham Motihari Express (14009/14010) on September 9 and 10, he said.
