PPU’s foundation day to be held on March 18
Patna: Patliputra University (PPU) will celebrate its 8th foundation day on March 18 at the premises of JD Women’s College here. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting held here on Friday under the chairmanship of vice-chancellor Upendra Prasad Singh.During the meeting, the university worked out a series of events to mark the occasion. “Inter-college games and sports competitions will be organised for both boys and girls. In addition, students will participate in music and cultural programmes, plays and debate competitions as part of the celebrations,” said PPU registrar Abu Bakar.A souvenir will also be released on the occasion, highlighting the academic journey of the university since March 18, 2018 when the PPU was formed after its bifurcation from Magadh University, he said adding the foundation day will be celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement aiming at encouraging students to showcase their talents and motivating them to build successful and impressive careers in future.
