PATNA: The Muzaffarpur police have pasted a notice outside the house of absconding BJP legislator Raju Kumar Singh, asking him to surrender.
Singh is an accused in a case pertaining to kidnapping of Tulsi Prasad Yadav, an RJD functionary.
Police said they would attach the property of Singh if he failed to surrender. “We are conducting frequent raids for his arrest. We will move court seeking attachment of his property if he fails to surrender,” Muzaffarpur senior SP Rakesh Kumar said.
The police have been searching for the Sahibganj legislator for the past around a month after Yadav registered a case of kidnapping against him last month.
