Petro outlet manager killed in Barh village

PATNA: Police on Wednesday recovered the body of one Manoj Kumar Singh from a farmland in Kondi village under the Pandarak police station area in Barh sub-division of Patna district.
According to police, Singh was a manager with the Geeta petrol pump. He was returning home on a bicycle after closing the pump around midnight when he was attacked by unidentified criminals.

He was dragged to a nearby field where his head was crushed with a big chunk of stone.
Irate locals on Wednesday blocked the road, demanding arrest of the murderers.
ARRESTED: Police on Wednesday arrested three thieves and recovered 32 mobile phones and other accessories stolen from a shop at Kahjekala on December 9.
The arrested thieves have been identified as Rohit Kumar, Roshan Kumar and Buletan Kumar.
CARS TURN TURTLE ON BAILEY ROAD FLYOVER: A man was injured when two cars collided with a divider and turned turtle one after another on the Bailey Road flyover in Patna on Wednesday morning. Traffic police station SHO Shashi Shekhar Chauhan attributed the accident to the drivers losing control of the vehicles. The accident led to traffic snarl for at least two hours on the busy bridge. No FIR was lodged.
