Four people, including main accused Dhiraj Kumar, were arrested on charges of killing the property dealers and cutting their bodies into pieces.

Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said the two brothers had left their village on Monday evening to meet one Dhiraj Kumar and purchase a land from him at Dumri village. "When they did not return home till late in the evening, their family members reached Dhiraj's home. Dhiraj told them that the duo did not come. Later, the family members of the two brothers lodged a complaint with Punpun police station," he said.

The SSP added Dhiraj confessed to the police during interrogation that he and his cousin Pintu Kumar killed the two brothers over a property dispute.

Apart from Dhiraj and one of his cousins, police also arrested Pintu's parents in connection with the case. Pintu and another accused are still at large, the SSP said.
