Gaya: Former Union minister and Patna Sahib BJP MP
Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday performed ‘pinddaan’ and ‘tarpan’ at the Vishnupad temple, and offered prayers for his ancestors as well as several national icons, including Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan, Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In a brief interaction with media persons after performing the rituals, Prasad said, “I felt great peace and satisfaction at the Vishnupad temple. The arrangements here are very good. One thing has come to my mind about which I will talk to the defence minister, if Gaya shradh can be performed at Vishnupad temple for the martyr soldiers of our nation.”
