In Patna's Indrapuri area, tragedy struck as two children, a girl aged around nine and a boy about five, were discovered deceased inside a parked car on Friday evening. Police responded to a 112 call and found one child alive, but the child later died in hospital.

PATNA: Two children were found dead inside a parked car in Patna’s Indrapuri area on Friday evening, police said."Police received information that the bodies of two children - a girl and a boy - were found inside a car in Indrapuri locality. Officials immediately reached the spot and recovered the bodies. They are trying to ascertain the identity of the children. Bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination", Patna (Central) SP Diksha said.SP Diksha stated that the exact cause of their deaths would be determined only after the autopsy report is released.An official added that the girl was around nine years old, while the boy was about five.

He added that investigations are underway to trace the owner of the vehicle."We are investigating the cause of death. Postmortem will reveal the reasons behind their death.
