PATNA: The state capital has been chosen as one of the 12 examination centres for the entrance test of various courses of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune for the next academic session commencing in July 2004, said its director Tripurari Sharan here on Thursday.
Sharan, a 1985 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer, said Patna has been chosen as one of the examination centres to encourage enthusiasts to join the courses in FTII.
The national entrance test examination would be held on May 2 on the basis of which 105 successful candidates would be selected.
After a lapse of 28 years, two-year acting courses would be revived in the institute, he said. Twenty seats have been allocated for the courses.
