Patna: The Bihar legislative council on Monday witnessed uproarious scene over the law and order situation in the state. The chairman of the council had to adjourn the house till lunch without transacting any scheduled business.
As soon as the house assembled for the day’s business, BJP members Mangal Pandey and Rajnish Kumar started demanding special debate on the deteriorating law and order situation besides the killing of Rajiv Roshan and Srikant Bharati in Siwan.

Pandey started reading out the report of the SP (special branch) in which it was mentioned that former Siwan RJD MP Mohd Shahabudddin, who is in Siwan jail, had made a plan to kill 23 persons.
Shouting antigovernment slogans and displaying placards, BJP members Nawal Kishore Yadav, Rajnish Kumar, Satyendra N Kushwaha, Sanjay Mayukh and Lal Babu Prasad among others entered the well of the house following which chairman Awadhesh Narain Singh adjourned the house till lunch break.
