PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav came under attack from ruling NDA as well as senior functionaries of his own party on Thursday for using indecent words for CM Nitish Kumar and deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi.
At an anti-CAA public meeting at Masaurhi on Wednesday, Tej had said, “I have given new name to Nitish Kumar and henceforth he is Nitish Kumari, similarly Sushil Kumar Modi is Sushil Kumari,” Tej said.

Training guns at another NDA leader, Tej had said, “Do not sit at home wearing bangles, rather come and talk directly.”
Tej’s statements irked the NDA functionaries who demanded an apology from him as well as the RJD. JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan asked Tej to apologize from entire Bihar for insulting the CM and the deputy CM. “He has even embarrassed his party people. Such statements are Tej Pratap’s identity,” Ranjan said.
Another JD(U) leader, Ajay Alok, described Tej as “mentally unstable” and advised RJD to send the latter to Ranchi for treatment.
The elder Yadav scion even got a piece of advice from senior RJD functionary Raghuvansh Prasad Singh. “I often criticize, but in a modest way. We are in opposition and it is our duty to fight and work. However, we should not cross the limit,” Singh said.
