Amit Shah predicts NDA crossing 270 seats in Lok Sabha elections,... Read More
BETTIAH: Union home minister Amit Shah on Sunday said in the four phases of Lok Sabha elections so far, the NDA has already crossed the mark of 270 seats in the country. "Note down my words in your diary. Laluji's party is not getting even four seats. Similarly, Rahul Baba is not getting even 40 seats," Shah said while addressing an election rally at Bettiah in Paschim Champaran Lok Sabha constituency in support of BJP's Sanjay Jaiswal.

From invoking local shrines Kali Dham mandir, Madanpur mandir, Patjirwa, Khuda Mata and Surya mandirs at the outset, Shah raised the Ayodhya Ram temple construction and its sanctification at the close of his almost half-an-hour speech. "We will cross the 400-mark and Narendra Modi will become PM for the third time," he claimed.

Shah spoke about reservations, Muslims, vote bank politics, ghuspaithia (intruder), BJP's schemes for the poor, Pakistan, POK, Kashmir, Article 370, the Covid pandemic, Chandrayaan, Aditya and G20 stewardship.

"The INDI Alliance is going to be wiped out. Supra saaf hone wala hai," he said. "By speaking lies, they want to achieve success in politics. They say that if Modiji crosses 400-mark, he will scrap reservations. There cannot be a bigger lie than this," Shah added.

The home minister charged the Congress with committing dacoity on OBC-EBC reservations. "They gave 5% and 4% reservations in Karnataka and Telangana, respectively, to the Muslims which is not in consonance with the Constitution. Samvidhan dharm ke aadhaar par aarakshan ka permission nahi deta hai," he said.
