Murder accused held in Khagaria village

Khagaria: Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at Lakshmipur village on Monday night and arrested one Bijal Singh of Kaithi village under Chautham police station area. Bijal was evading arrest since last two months in connection with murder of his elder brother Kaushal Singh, a JD(U) activist, who was allegedly gunned down by Bijal on April 9. SP, Rakesh Kumar, said Bijal was arrested from his in-laws' house who was main accused in Kaushal's killing. Police also recovered two country-made pistols from his possession, the SP said.
