MBBS student found hanging in hostel room
Patna: A second-year MBBS student at MGM Medical College in Kishanganj was found hanging in her hostel room late Friday evening, triggering concern on the campus. Kishanganj DM Vishal Raj and SP Santosh Kumar reached the spot along with a police team and issued necessary directions to officials.
Sadar sub-divisional police officer Manglesh Kumar said, “The body was sent to Kishanganj Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and her family has been informed. The hostel room has been sealed for forensic examination. The college administration, her batchmates and other persons at the campus are being questioned for further information.”
