While Imamuddin died on the way, the teen is undergoing treatment at PMCH. The deceased was a resident of Olhanpur village in Saran, while Noor Alam is from Muzaffarpur district.
According to locals, Alam found a ball-like object near the madrasa and took it inside. When the maulana saw the object, he took it from Alam and threw it away, suspecting it to be a bomb. The object exploded, injuring both.
Saran SP Gaurav Mangala said a forensic team had inspected the incident site and collected samples. “After we get their report, we can say whether the object was a bomb or a firecracker,” Mangala said.
