PATNA: The flying squad of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Thursday expelled as many as 26 examinees appearing in the matriculation examination for using unfair means at the College of Commerce centre.
The flying squad, consisting of BSEB chairman Subhash Sharma and its assistant secretary Sohail Ahmed, made surprise visits to three examination centres in Patna on the first day.
In the first sitting, the squad made surprise inspections at Gardanibagh Boys’ High School and Boys’ High School, Shastrinagar.
The team expelled 24 examinees in both these centres for adopting unfair means. The second flying squads consisting of BSEB joint secretary Shiv Nath Prasad and Hem Chandra Mishra visited six high schools in Masaurhi
As many as 40 examinees were expelled in four schools located at Jehanabad.
SDO, Patna Sadar, inspected the G D Pataliputra High School and Patna Collegiate School where he expelled four examinees.
