Man kills wife over domestic dispute in Buxar village
A domestic dispute turned deadly in Buxar's Parsia village when a man allegedly bludgeoned his wife to death with a wooden plank. The accused then attacked his sister-in-law, who attempted to intervene, leaving her critically injured. The assailant has fled the scene, and police are actively searching for him.
Buxar: A man during an argument with his wife killed her at Parsia village under Industrial Area police station area of the district on Friday.The accused also attacked his sister-in-law, who tried to intervene, seriously injuring her. The injured woman is undergoing treatment at the Sadar Hospital, Buxar, where her condition is said to be serious.

The deceased was identified as Rekha Devi (35), wife of Shravan Ram, a resident of Parsia village. The injured woman, Dimple Devi (30), is the wife of the accused’s younger brother, Sajan Ram.According to reports, Shravan and his wife Rekha frequently argued over domestic matters. According to family members, they had an argument on Thursday night as well. On Friday, while Rekha was sleeping in her room, Shravan repeatedly struck her on the head with a wooden plank, killing her on the spot.Dimple, who was present in the house at the time, rushed to the room upon hearing the commotion and tried to stop the fight. However, the accused attacked her as well.According to family sources, both brothers were married into the same family in Mathia Mohalla of Sarimpur. Their wives are sisters. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Industrial Police Station team reached the spot, took the body into custody, and sent it for the postmortem to the govt hospital.SDPO Gaurav Pandey said the accused, Shravan, has absconded after committing the crime. Raids are being conducted to arrest him.
