LPG supply normal in Buxar: DM
Buxar district guarantees a steady supply of LPG cylinders, putting to rest any concerns about shortages. Customers can now expect a smoother booking process with a 25-day interval and the temporary suspension of OTP verification to enhance convenience.
Buxar: The supply of domestic LPG cylinders across the district is normal and there is no shortage anywhere, district magistrate Sahila said on Friday. The district administration informed that LPG bookings will now be processed only after a gap of 25 days, and consumers will receive their next cylinder after completion of this period without any inconvenience.Considering public difficulties, the requirement of OTP verification for LPG delivery has been temporarily waived. Until further orders, consumers will be able to receive their booked cylinders without OTP authentication.

The administration has strictly warned against the use of domestic LPG cylinders for commercial purposes, stating that legal action will be taken against violators. Strict action will also be initiated against individuals, agencies or institutions involved in hoarding.Officials have been directed to keep constant watch on social media and take immediate action against those spreading rumours or engaging in black marketing. The district and police administrations are jointly monitoring the situation to ensure uninterrupted supply and prevent inconvenience to consumers.
