‘LJP(RV) to contest all 24 council seats’

Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) national president Chirag Paswan on Thursday said his party was making preparations to contest all the 24 vacant legislative council seats in the state.
“We are in the process of selecting candidates for all the 24 legislative seats. After the election notification is made, we will announce the names of our candidates.I don’t know as to why there is delay in announcing the election notification and poll schedule,” Chirag told mediapersons in Khagaria.

Chirag said the party’s state parliamentary board headed by MLC Hulas Pandey and state president Raju Tiwari had recommended contesting all the 24 legislative council seats. “Their recommendation was accepted by the party’s central parliamentary board. Accordingly, preparations are being made on all the 24 seats,” he added.
