The incidents, reported between 1pm and 4pm, occurred in Aurangabad, Gopalganj, Siwan, and Gaya districts. State officials confirmed that the fatalities were a direct result of lightning during rain and thunderstorms that swept through various regions of Bihar.

Patna: Four people lost their lives in separate lightning strikes across Bihar on Friday afternoon.According to data from the Bihar State Emergency Operations Centre, the incidents occurred between 1pm and 4pm, with one fatality reported in each of the affected districts.In Aurangabad, a lightning strike in Nabinagar block around 1:30pm claimed one life. At the same time, a fatal incident was recorded in Gopalganj Sadar block. Another death occurred in Raghunathpur block of Siwan at 1:30pm.The most recent strike was reported from Imamganj in Gaya district at 4pm, where one person was killed.Officials confirmed that all four deaths were caused by lightning during the spells of rain and thunderstorms that lashed different parts of the state on Friday.
