“Investigations are on to ascertain if the accused are involved in other similar scams. We are investigating the antecedents of Devendra, who connived with the officials to purchase the land,” Kushwaha added.
He said Devendra, who resides at Saguna Mor in Danapur, claimed the ownership of the power sub-station land and Lal prepared a report, which was submitted to CO, who allowed mutation. Later, the DCLR also issued land possession certificate to Devendra.

said raids were on to arrest the DCLR and Devendra. “The offices of DCLR and CO were inspected by a police team on Thursday and Friday,” he said, adding the sadar ASPPramod Kumar Mandal
is investigating the case. Kushwaha said the FIR was lodged under different sections of Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.“Investigations are on to ascertain if the accused are involved in other similar scams.
