PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Saturday evening returned to New Delhi from Singapore after his kidney transplant. His daughter Rohini Acharya, who had donated her kidney to Lalu, made a series of emotional tweets on the occasion.
In one of the posts, she wrote, "With folded hands, I request you all that don't let the hard work of a daughter go waste. Kindly take care of my father's health all of you." Rohini shared her several photographs along with Lalu while the latter was leaving for India after staying in Singapore for 78 days.

Lalu was accompanied by his eldest daughter and RJD Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti.
Sources said Lalu would stay at Misa's bungalow in New Delhi. "There is no chance of his immediate arrival at Patna. Doctors have instructed him to follow all the precautions. Too much intermingling with people has to be avoided as there are chances of catching infection. Since there will be a big crowd of visitors in Patna, it has been decided to keep him in Delhi with restricted meeting with people," said a senior RJD leader. He further said the party supremo has been given a diet chart to be followed.
Lalu left for Singapore on November 25. After undergoing required tests, his transplant was done on December 5. Lalu was discharged from the hospital nearly two weeks after the major operation and stayed in Singapore under the doctor's supervision.
The news of Lalu's arrival on Saturday came as a solace for many party leaders and workers. RJD state spokesperson Chaitranjan Gagan said, "Not only people associated with RJD, but common people who have nothing to do with politics are also happy to hear about Lalu ji's comeback."
