DARBHANGA: Senior JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar has charged that RJD government did not take requisite initiatives for the welfare of the minority community. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad has been creating fear psychosis among minority by dubbing opposition parties as a communal lot.
The former railway minister was addressing a press conference at the residence of JD(U) state vice-president Uma Kant Chaudhary here on Sunday.
Kumar reiterated the necessity to formulate grand electoral alliance to facilitate the end of RJD regime from Bihar.
Responding to a query, the JD(U) leader said that Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati is considered a venerable personality, who has been recognised internationally. Everybody should take care to bestow due respect and honour to him, he said, adding it was altogether a different aspect that rule of law had a set guidelines to tread upon.
Meanwhile, Kumar has once again asserted the need to forge grand electoral alliance during Bihar assembly polls to overthrow RJD government. Only a coalition front could be a viable enough alternative to push Rabri regime out of the saddle, Kumar said, adding that is why the JD(U) leaders have urged LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan to go to polls along with them.
