Lalu attacks PM Modi

Patna: RJD president Lalu Prasad on Monday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been committing “dacoity” in all four directions in the country.Addressing a function after releasing the biography of Bihar CM and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar here, Lalu referred to the Sunday’s political upheaval in Maharashtra and said, “This book launch function has been organized at a time when the country is being divided and disintegrated and attacks are being made on the democracy. Narendra Modi jo ki Pradhan Mantri hain, charo taraf daaka daal rahe hain.”“Recently, as the country’s most senior leader (Sharad Pawar) had come to Bihar to attend opposition parties’ meeting, Narendra Modi has tried to make a dent in his political standing. But he (Pawar) will come out unharmed,” Lalu said, adding, “the recent upheaval will have no impact on the standing of the NCP’s patriarch.”He also said some BJP leaders have been shouting that after Maharashtra, it is the turn of Bihar. “Now they are saying they will cause split in the opposition parties in Bihar. But, people in Bihar know the art of colouring flying birds with turmeric. We will not allow them to create any disturbance in Bihar. We will unitedly fight against any nefarious bid of the BJP,” Lalu said.He called upon people to politically destroy Modi to save the country and the Constitution. “They (BJP leaders) tried to create differences among the disciples of Ram and Rahim. During Modi rule, no discussion was held on how to eradicate poverty from the country,” Lalu said.The RJD chief further questioned PM Modi’s anti-corruption pitch, raising the allegations against a major industrial group, and asked: “Who can be more corrupt than this regime?”
