Jaipur: Slain student Satya Prakash’s father on Saturday expressed dissatisfaction over police investigations and demanded a CBI probe into his son’s murder in

Kota

two days earlier.
Surendra Kumar said the coaching institute, where his 19-year-old son studied, called him up regularly for fee payments, but did not bother to inform him about Prakash’s murder.
“We had sent prince (Prakash) to Kota to become a doctor and have a good life, but the city has snatched him away,” he said. Kumar added his son was good at studies. “We did not pressurise him about his career choice. It was his wish to come to Kota and study.’’
Kumar said Prakash did not have any bad habits. “Why such a horrible fate? I cannot believe he is no more.’’
Kumar said he rushed from his native Nawada in Bihar to Prakash’s coaching institute in Kota but was cold shouldered there.
“No responsible person met us and explained to us what had happened and why. The police have rounded up some students, but they did not say what role they played. We are told over 50 students were in the group that attacked prince, but they are still at large.’’
Prakash was stabbed along with another coaching student, Sandeep, following a clash between two groups in Kota on Thursday.
Police said the attackers called themselves Bihar Tiger Force and the two groups clashed for “supremacy’’.
