PATNA: The two Delhi brothers, who had been kidnapped from the Patna airport premises on October 21 evening, were tortured and not given anything to eat throughout the five days in captivity.
Recalling the ordeal after police rescued them from Simra Talli village in Lakhisarai district on Wednesday, visibly shaken Suresh Sharma and Kapil Sharma said they were not provided even drinking water and the kidnappers regularly injected them with drugs to keep them unconscious.

"We were not even allowed to go out to attend the nature's call," Suresh said and added that at least five persons guarded them 24X7. At times there were seven to eight persons guarding them, he said.
Suresh said when the police team reached near the house where the two brothers were held captive, one of the criminals pointed a gun on them to keep their mouths shut. "The kidnappers immediately injected a drug in my leg and after which they also attempted to inject my younger brother who resisted," said Suresh adding that he did not allow the criminals to inject another vial in this arm.
Suresh said he took a risk and shouted to seek the policemen's attention. "Then, one of the criminals hit me hard on my head and others started fleeing after police reached near the house," he said and added that a few of the kidnappers had fled soon after they felt the police presence nearby.
