Motihari: A state executive member of the JD(U) resigned from the party on Thursday, alleging that his contributions had not been recognised.
“I was not given respect by the party and my work was not evaluated. I had carried out every directive as a dedicated soldier and twice served as the district president of East Champaran, of which the party was well aware,” said Kapildeo Prasad, alias Bhuwan Patel, while speaking to reporters.
Party insiders indicated that Patel is preparing to contest the upcoming assembly election from Raxaul and is likely to join Jan Suraaj.
