Inter compartmental results announced

PATNA: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the results of intermediate compartmental examination on Wednesday. “A total 56,061 students had appeared in the exam, out of which 34,792 students have passed. The pass percentage of the students remains at 62.06%,” said BSEB chairman Anand Kishore while announcing the results.

The highest pass percentage scored in this examination was 71.65% in commerce, followed by 63.51% in arts and 60.46% in science. This examination was held at 105 centres across the state from April 26 to May 5, Kishore said.

According to Kishore, effective measures of innovation and transparency were adopted in this compartmental examination.

“Separate answer and OMR sheets with names and photographs of examinees printed were used to check wrong means in the examination. These answer sheets had more security features in the form of bar codes and Litho codes. The examinees were instructed to wear only traditional watches with needles instead of the modern ones with electronic features,” he said.
