In Bihar, man stabs pregnant wife, two daughters to death

CHHAPRA/PATNA: A 35-year-old man, Amarnath Bind, allegedly stabbed his pregnant wife and two minor daughters to death following a tiff at Chapraithi village under the Rasulpur police station area in Saran district in the wee hours of Thursday. Bind, who also stabbed himself after killing his wife and two daughters, was undergoing treatment at Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH).

The victims were identified as Rambha and her daughters Chanchal (12) and Hansika (3). Bind, father of four daughters, was unemployed and his wife worked as a labourer. His two other daughters were sleeping with their grandmother when the incident occurred.

In Garla, Lohitha and Jashita were poisoned by their parents, Anil and Devi, due to concerns about the girls' future. The couple fled after the tragic incident.
