patna: the state unit of the indian medical association (ima), at its emergency meeting here on sunday, demanded unqualified apology from the senior sp of patna, sunil kumar, and the inspector-cum-officer in charge of the danapur police station, pramod kumar, in connection with the saturday incident in which the ima state president, dr ajay kumar, was reportedly abused by the inspector outside the office chamber of the senior sp.
the ima said it will resort to agitation if the two police officials fail to tender apology to dr kumar. the meeting was held at the ima hall. giving this information to mediapersons, dr kumar said the ima is going to write to the chief minister and the director general of police about the conduct of the inspector before the senior sp.
