Patna: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhagalpur on Thursday felicitated 10 outstanding volunteers of ‘Unnati’— a student-led initiative, in recognition to their exceptional contributions in promoting digital awareness and educational empowerment of school children at a function chaired by director Madhusudan Singh.
During the event, the principals from eight govt schools were also felicitated with mementos for their consistent support and collaboration with Unnati Society
The faculty members and students of the institute applauded the collaborative efforts of Unnati volunteers (students) and govt schools of Bhagalpur in empowering underprivileged children through digital education, career guidance, and basic learning courses, helping them gain confidence and adapt to modern tools.
They also appreciated their efforts towards spreading awareness about social issues like cleanliness, women’s hygiene, health, and fostering empathy and responsibility.
